Garmin Tacx® NEO Bike Plus Indoor Trainer

Get the best of both worlds!
The Tacx® NEO Bike Plus is a great symbiosis of a Tacx® NEO indoor trainer and a road bike. Capable and interactive for the perfect road feeling. Individually adjustable for any rider. Besides, it is extremely quiet, as it has neither a chain drive nor roller contact. In the Plus version, the smart bike offers you even more possibilities to adapt the riding experience to your road bike with programmable shifters and additional crank arm lengths.

Climb on, push the pedals and experience the precise resistance control of the powerful motor brake, which simulates gradients of up to 25 percent. Enjoy crisp and precise shifting with virtual, freely programmable gears and the same shifting logic as your Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo groupset. Integrated fans blow the wind in your face depending on your heart rate, wattage or speed. The Tacx® NEO Bike Plus shows its full potential during virtual cycling with compatible apps. For example, the Road Feel function for the Tacx® or Zwift app simulates gravel and cobblestones through corresponding vibrations of the drive. Or you can give yourself a break and just let yourself roll through the downhill simulation as in real life, even picking up speed in the process. Even braking is realistic with the programmable shifters/brake levers.

All core data such as speed, cadence, power, gradient and gearing are shown on the large, integrated display and easy to read. When paired with a compatible heart rate sensor, you can also view your heart rate data. In addition to the reliable watt measurement with a maximum tolerance of one percent, you can also use the Tacx® Desktop App to analyse your pedal stroke live for targeted work on it. Connect via Bluetooth or ANT+ with external devices and applications like the Tacx® Training App, Zwift or TrainerRoad, ride real routes animated or as a video sequence, create training plans, analyse your data and compete in virtual races against cyclists from all over the world.

For customised training, the NEO Bike Plus can be adapted to your anatomy in almost every possible way – whether through horizontal and vertical adjustment options for saddle and handlebar or through five selectable crank lengths from 165 to 175 mm. This makes a pedal stroke with maximum efficiency possible for smaller riders, too. Further features include the possibility to train in stand-alone mode without app or even without power connection. In short, the Tacx® NEO Plus Bike offers pretty much everything you need for a professional workout. You only have to provide the muscle power yourself.

Highlights:

REAL ROAD FEEL
To simulate an outdoor ride, the dynamic inertia controls the mass inertia and balances weight, speed and tilt angle to make the ride feel as realistic as possible.

ROAD FEEL – RIDING ON ANY SURFACE
The trainer vibrates and simulates the typical shaking felt when riding over different road surfaces such as cobblestones or gravel. Available for the Tacx® software or Zwift app.

FAST-PACED DOWNHILLS
After a tough climb, let yourself roll downhill without pedalling. Listen to the sound of the freewheel and gather new strength for the next sprint. When connected to an external power source, the flywheel continues to turn thanks to the downhill simulation.

CRISP SHIFTING
While you ride, GEAR FEEL mimics the sensation of your chain jumping into a different gear – realistic and individually customisable. You can program the gear steps and front and rear sprocket sizes. What’s more, with the NEO Bike Plus, you can also customise the combination shifter assignments with the familiar shifting logic from SRAM, Shimano or Campagnolo.

PEDAL STROKE ANALYSIS IN THE TAXC® DESKTOP APP
The NEO Bike Plus indoor trainer gives you feedback on your pedal stroke in combination with the Tacx® Desktop App. With this real-time analysis, you can improve your pedalling technique and develop a more efficient stroke.

ACCURATE AND RELIABLE
Store and analyse your performance and progress with reliable measurements – no calibration required. This includes power, speed and cadence, measured with an accuracy of 99%.

READY TO SPRINT
The well-balanced design of the NEO Bike Plus ensures maximum stability, even during the fastest sprints, up to 2200 watts.

CLIMBING HIGHER? NO PROBLEM
Get the most out of your intense workouts by training on realistically simulated inclines up to a 25% gradient.

SMOOTH AND SILENT
The combination of the NEO Smart motor drive with the internal design of the NEO Bike Plus results in a particularly silent indoor trainer that is superior to a classic roller trainer and allows for intensive training even in badly soundproofed flats.

FULLY ADJUSTABLE
Adjust the spacing and height of the saddle and handlebar position, choose from five different crank lengths, use your usual pedals or equip the handlebar with triathlon attachments. This allows you to adapt the Smart Bike to your anatomy, needs and habits.

COMPATIBLE WITH ZWIFT AND TRAINERROAD
The NEO Bike Plus uses Bluetooth® Smart technology and the ANT+® FE-C protocol for communication, making it compatible with many popular training apps such as TrainerRoad and Zwift.

ABLE TO STAND ALONE
You can also use the trainer in stand-alone mode. When not connected, it will simulate a flat road. The faster you ride, the higher the resistance.

COMPATIBLE WITH MULTIPLE DEVICES
Connect the NEO Bike Plus to multiple devices simultaneously, so that you can take advantage of the Tacx® software and also save the performance with your GARMIN bike computer.

MORE TRAINING VIDEOS – MORE RIDING FUN
Enjoy a library filled with more than 250 high-quality videos* of real routes where you can climb the steep mountains of the Alps or ride the cobblestone streets of Milan.

TACX® TRAINING PLANS FOR YOUR GOALS
Use the structured training plans* designed for your fitness level to help you achieve your goals. Compete against real opponents, upload GPS data*, use 3D maps while riding and more.
